our story
Built From a Hospital Room. Not a Boardroom.
ShiftRelease™ was created by Andres Doctor, RN after a Code Blue almost ended his career.
During a resuscitation, Andres was the only person on one side helping move a 400 pound patient to place a backboard. He felt his back give out. Nobody had started compressions yet. So he kept going.
He was off work for months recovering from that injury. And during that time one question kept coming back to him.
Why does nobody give nurses a real tool to manage stress during and after a shift?
That question became ShiftRelease™. And the answer is the BreathLoop™.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Stress shows up in your breathing first. And when you slow your breath down intentionally your nervous system gets the signal it has been waiting for. You are safe. The shift is over. You can let go.
That is not wellness fluff. That is science. And it lives on your badge.
Close. The. Shift.
